Crossing the Ohio River on the Anderson ferry established in 1817, the John A Roebling Suspension Bridge that when opened in 1866 was the longest suspension bridge in the world. It retained that titled until the Roebling-designed Brooklyn Bridge opened in 1883. And the ferry from Augusta, Kentucky to Ohio established in 1798.
